I was in an accident that bent the unibody frame/structure, can the frame be repaired?

I have a 2010 Nissan Sentra, purchased for $12,000. I understand a car's value decreases by approximately $2,000 as soon as it leaves the lot. Taking that into consideration do you think my car can avoid being totaled for, around $6,000, as a bumper, 2 airbags, and the unibody structure/frame all have to be replaced?

Generally speaking it's usually pretty safe to assume that the car has been totalled when the uni-body has become racked as in your case.

Maybe it could be fixed. But the fastest, easiest thing for everybody is to just write it off. There is a lot of work and a lot of unknowns in a job like this.
