What car gives best mpg while cruising at 70-75 mph?

I'm planning to get a used car (1998-2001 models) because of the rise in fuel prices and just wanted to know which car gives move mpg at 70-75 mph highway? I don't like driving at 55 to save gas, so that's not an option. I'm guessing the Honda civic gives less mpg at that speed, since it reaches like 3500 rpm when i'm at 75. I had driven a 2003 toyota matrix XR manual transmission and I drove it at like 75 mph (interstate journey) and it gave me 34 mpg. Any ideas?

everthing thats built to turn is balanced and spins with less effort at a certain speed/used to be about 50 mph on cars but now its up to about 65/going past this speed starts the engine to use much more gas/take car on the tpke and try 60 65 and 70/you will notice a good feel coming on to the car at one of these speeds/thats the best/ferrari is 120 mph so go for it/gas ratio to mpg has drastic increase on speeds past the ideal/example say 28 mpg at 65/at 70 its 19 and 75 its 12 etc/these numbers are to show the big differences at higher speeds
