Hi

This is the lagging coming out of the back box. You need a new back box.

Very best regards

It's the fibreglass insulation coming from the rear silencer. Worse case scenario you need a new silencer but I'd carry on driving till started making a bad blowing noise, all you're ever going to need is a new silencer with that fault.

NOTHING to do with your Cat, it is just the wadding breaking down in the back box and coming out. It will soon stop and doubtful you will notice any difference.

it is just the silencer box muffler breaking up, just change the silencer box, or sometimes called " backbox ",

I wouldn't feel bad about running it I would hit the converter with a hammer it might loosen it up probably wont do the converter any good but you don't need it for anything but emissions. however if it is tool rusty I wouldn't risk poking a hole in it. That probably cost 200 bucks. If you run it at real high rpms it might also clean it out a little.

If it all comes out, it would only be a problem if it is clogging the converter or muffler. That will effect the performance and gas mileage. Not to mention the environmental issues.
